Fine Art Giclée Printing

Our Giclée (pronounced gee-clay) prints are produced using the latest Epson professional inkjet printers, producing archival museum quality prints for both artists and photographers. Using Ultrachrome HD pigment inks, a full range of subtle and vibrant colours are produced on media from smooth matte, semigloss, pearl to heavier watercolour papers and canvas.

It is very difficult to represent the characteristics of each paper surface through an image on a website. We suggest you stop by our shop and have a look at sample prints on each paper so you can decide which you like best.

Our most popular paper finishes include:

Smooth Matt 230GSM

Our archival matt paper is a medium weight with a matt (no shine), smooth (no texture) finish. This paper is a great lower cost choice for reproducing watercolour paintings, drawings, and illustrations. If you are unsure of which paper is best, just ask us and we’ll be happy to advise you.

Photo Satin 260GSM

Our most popular and go to paper choice for printing, is our standard photo satin. This paper has a smooth finish with a slight sheen which produces colours in a very natural way, with subtlety of tonal variation and shadow detail. Great versatile paper and works well with all images from photos to artwork. Because of its superb anti-reflective properties, we also recommend this finish when framed behind glass.

Photo Luster 300GSM

This paper offers a nice balance between glossy and matte, giving you the benefits of both finishes. A Luster finish is a popular choice for professional photographers as it offers the surface aesthetic reminiscent of the original photochemical papers. Produces very high – deep blacks & high visual contrast,  but also feature a very fine “texture” to help reduce problems associated with glare and fingerprints that glossy papers present.

Smooth Pearl 310GSM

A heavyweight photographic paper with a fine semi-gloss pearlescent surface, which accentuates the colours to give a punchy rich feel.  Exceptional colour gamut and tonal properties. A very popular choice with wedding and portrait photographers and it has a high degree of resistance to scratches and fingerprints.
